In short
- Launch builds your app, from its goal through to its release on the stores.
- Fixed price: €14,900 excl. VAT.
- The backend is developed when the app needs one. If you have your own APIs, we use them.
- The code is yours from day one.
For a business leader, an app is often a black box. Here is each step of Launch.
1. Before we start: a fixed price
It all starts with a 30-minute call. We talk about your project and see whether Launch is a fit.
You then receive a written proposal. Payment is made in three instalments: 40%, 30%, 30%.
2. The goal
Before drawing anything, we set the app’s goal. What is it for? Who is it for? What will tell us it is a success?
This goal guides every decision that follows.
3. The design
Next comes the app’s design: its screens and how you move from one to the next.
4. The choice of technology
The app is released on iOS and on Android.
5. Development, from A to Z
Development covers the whole app, not just the screens.
The backend first. When the app needs a backend, it is developed as part of Launch. Its tickets are created and set up before mobile development. The app then relies on foundations that are already in place. If you already have your own APIs, we use them.
Then the app. Mobile development moves forward ticket by ticket.
The code is yours from day one. It is pushed to your repository: GitHub, GitLab or another. If we stopped overnight, it would still belong to you.
6. The release
Launch goes all the way to the app’s release on the App Store and Google Play. It is published on your accounts. Store subscriptions are at your expense.
A tip: set up your accounts early. Apple requires a D-U-N-S number to publish as a company. Allow up to 5 business days to get one, then 2 days for Apple to receive it (Apple). On the Google side, a company account avoids the closed test required of recent personal accounts: 12 testers for 14 days (Google Play).
The app is delivered to you once the price has been paid in full. It is guaranteed for one month after release, as long as no one else modifies the code.
