This page explains which cookies and trackers droidfactory.fr uses, and how you can accept, refuse or change your mind at any time.
A tracker is information read from or stored on your device: a cookie, but also browser storage or a script that reads characteristics of your device.
1. Trackers that are always on
These trackers are essential for the site to work or stay secure, or remember your choice. The law does not require consent for them.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Client-area session cookie | Keep you signed in to your client area | Until you sign out, 30 days at most |
| Cookie choice (local storage) | Remember your choice so you are not asked on every page | 6 months |
| Error monitoring (Sentry, data hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt) | Report errors that occur in your browser, to fix failures and keep the site and client area secure. Only the error message and page concerned are sent, through our server, without IP address, device characteristics, tokens or form content | No cookie. Data kept 90 days at Sentry |
2. Trackers that need your consent
They are only switched on if you click “Accept” or turn the category on under “Customise”.
| Category | Tool | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Audience measurement | Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., data hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt) | Counting page views and key steps (booking, choosing an offer, sign-up, payment started), to learn what interests our visitors | No cookie. Data kept 90 days at Sentry |
Audience data goes through our server before reaching Sentry: Sentry receives neither your IP address nor your device characteristics, and sign-in tokens are removed from page addresses.
If you refuse, the site works exactly the same.
3. Your choice
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise. Refusing is as easy as accepting. Your choice is kept for 6 months, then the banner is shown again.
You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, audience measurement stops immediately.
4. External sites
The WhatsApp and LinkedIn buttons open those services in a separate page: nothing from them is loaded on droidfactory.fr.
Booking is handled by Calendly (Calendly LLC, United States). Nothing from Calendly is loaded before you click. When you click “Book”, we tell you that Calendly may set its own cookies, then you choose: continue on our page, where Calendly appears in a frame, or open it in a new tab. Either way, those cookies are governed by Calendly’s policy and settings.
5. More information
